During April & May 2023, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of La Compagnie's 100% smart business class service from Milan to New York with a series of events.

Creative collaboration

To mark this significant milestone, we facilitated a collaboration with the renowned Italian artist Ale Giorgini to create an illustration that creatively depicted the symbolic connection between the two cities and the shared energy that unites them. The result was a memorable limited-edition illustration that echoes distinctive elements of a contemporary-travellers experience, fuelled by the unique style of La Compagnie.

Event on board & press trip

During an event on board with Ale Giorgini, all passengers received a personalized autographed copy of the artwork and got to discuss directly with the artist about the elements that inspired him, as well as receive some advice on what not to miss once they land in the Big Apple, including iconic addresses such as Union Square, the Guggenheim Museum, and the legendary Ghostbusters Headquarters for pop film lovers. On the same flight, our team managed to organize and escort a press trip with five tier-one lifestyle and art media and influencer, who had the opportunity to engage with the artist and cover the exclusive services offered by the French airline.

Anniversary celebrations at art gallery

The celebrations of the route’s anniversary then continued at Deodato Arte Gallery in Milan, an unconventional venue carefully selected for its connection with the airline’s creativity and contemporary style, where over 80 guests among clients, tour operators and media enjoyed an exclusive preview of an Andy Warhol exhibition, symbol of New York’s pop culture.

During the evening Christian Vernet, CEO of La Compagnie, thanked the audience for the contribution to the airline's remarkable achievements of the route MI-NY during the first year of operations and provided the attending media with insights regarding the airline's future strategy and upcoming steps in the market.

On the occasion of the CEO’s presence in Milan the team concluded the happenings with a total of eight interviews with Christian Vernet by tier 1 media, resulting in a coverage of 25 articles published as well as TV coverage.

Media & trade visit on board

With the start of summer season, we organised a visit on board of La Compagnie's Airbus 321neo at Malpensa airport, where five trade media representatives along with tour operators and travel agents had the chance to experience the comfort of the 76 extendable seats and the unique services of the aircraft.
