The Brief
Increase brand awareness for Trenino Verde delle Alpi / BLS AG, with the goal of inspiring interest in the travel experience aboard the iconic train that crosses Switzerland’s stunning landscapes — an ideal adventure for a day trip or weekend getaway easily accessible from Northern Italy.
The Project
Tourism Hub chose to launch an advertising campaign on Spotify, one of the most popular audio streaming platforms in Italy and worldwide, to increase brand awareness among a geolocated audience.
Tourism Hub selected this platform because audio advertising creates an emotional and immersive connection, often achieving higher recall rates compared to visual banners.
The campaign, developed in both visual and audio formats, successfully promoted the onboard travel experience as well as the journeys and activities available along the train route, reaching a broader audience.
The promotion included two formats:
- Audio Everywhere – featuring a static image and a 30-second audio spot based on a script approved by BLS AG. The audio campaign delivered excellent brand awareness results.
- Video Takeover – a 30-second video produced by a BLS AG videomaker, paired with a dedicated 30-second audio track created for the campaign. The video format generated stronger engagement and achieved a very high completion rate.
Overall, the Spotify campaign successfully captured audience interest, maintaining a well-balanced ratio between frequency and budget.
